Aufeis (Ice) is a special dog. We are fortunate that he lives just over the hill and comes out to hunt, train, and gets along well with all the other dogs when he stays over at our house every now and then. A patient and calm dog in the house and on a tracking assignment, this guy is mellow until he gets a big search assignment at which time he turns it on! Big, beautiful, talented, and easy to be around. Ice did really well at the breed show 3-11-2018 and will likely be in another VGP with his owner (first time handler) in the future.
If you are interested in perfecting your Drahthaars, Ice has a lot to offer. He could use a little more chest, specifically wider and more forechest and his coat could be harsher. Otherwise, there isn’t a lot to work on.
